PetsGo Editorial Policy

Our job is to make life with a pet in the UAE easier without turning changing rules, health questions or local news into confident guesses.

Our source hierarchy

We prioritise UAE legislation, ministries, municipalities and other responsible authorities. Destination governments and operating airlines control international travel requirements. Recognised veterinary and animal-welfare organisations support preventive care and humane training guidance. Medical, nutritional and treatment guidance is not published without an appropriately qualified reviewer. News reports and community posts may identify a lead, but they do not replace the primary source.

How automation is used

PetsGo uses automation to monitor official sources, organise research, prepare drafts, check links and identify pages that need review. It also helps balance evergreen care, humane training, seasonal safety, UAE ownership guidance and material local news. A publication validator checks required sources, dates, images and review levels. Automation does not create authority where none exists, and publication remains approval-gated.

Review levels

Lifestyle guidance receives editorial review. Rules, fees, government processes and news are checked against the current official source. Training guidance follows humane, reward-based principles and excludes methods based on pain, fear or intimidation. Medical, nutritional and treatment guidance requires an appropriately qualified reviewer. Stories naming businesses in connection with closures, enforcement or complaints require additional editorial and legal review.

Dates and updates

“Published” is the article's editorial publication date. “Verified” is the most recent date on which the controlling official information was checked. We update a verified date only after checking the source, and we review rule-based guides when the authority changes its service.

Corrections

If something is unclear, outdated or wrong, email info@petsgo.info. Include the article, the disputed detail and the source supporting the correction. Material corrections are applied promptly and the article's update date changes.

What our guides are not

PetsGo articles are practical information, not legal advice, veterinary diagnosis, an entry guarantee or a substitute for the authority controlling a service. The linked official source takes precedence.
