Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing PetsGo, or using our app, website, community, Lost & Found, directories, or support services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use PetsGo.

PetsGo helps you organise pet information, reminders, community posts, Lost & Found alerts, and local directory information. PetsGo does not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, prescriptions, or medical advice.

Always contact a licensed veterinarian for medical questions and urgent care. If your pet may be in danger, contact a vet, animal hospital, municipality, or relevant authority immediately.

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You must keep your login credentials secure.
• You must not create an account for someone else without permission.
• You must not use PetsGo if you are banned or legally prohibited from using the service.

You agree not to:

• Use PetsGo for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or unsafe activity.
• Post threats, harassment, hate, graphic violence, sexual content, scams, spam, or false information.
• Share another person's private data, address, phone number, photos, or documents without permission.
• Impersonate another person, clinic, shelter, authority, or PetsGo team member.
• Scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, overload, bypass security controls, or interfere with PetsGo systems.
• Use PetsGo to sell regulated goods, run marketplace activity, collect donations, or offer services outside features we explicitly support.
• Misuse Lost & Found alerts, sightings, reports, ratings, or contact reveal flows.

You keep ownership of content you post, such as photos, comments, alerts, ratings, and suggestions. By posting content, you give PetsGo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, moderate, adapt, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, improve, protect, and promote PetsGo.

You are responsible for the content you post. You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to post it.

PetsGo may review, reject, hide, remove, limit, or preserve content and accounts if we believe it violates these terms, our Community Guidelines, law, safety needs, store policies, or user trust.

We may use automated tools, including image safety checks, rate limits, spam checks, reports, and manual review. We may suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations.

Lost & Found is free in PetsGo. You must use Lost & Found honestly and only for genuine missing, found, or sighting-related pet situations.

PetsGo cannot guarantee that a missing pet will be found, that a sighting is accurate, or that another user will respond. Use care when meeting anyone, sharing information, or following up on a sighting.

Vet and place listings, ratings, directions, phone numbers, map data, photos, opening hours, and policies may be incomplete, delayed, user-submitted, or provided by third parties. Always verify important details directly with the clinic, business, municipality, or authority before relying on them.

PetsGo may rely on Apple, Google, Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Maps, Google Vision, Sentry, Expo, Resend, and other providers to run the service. Your use of app stores, sign-in providers, maps, device permissions, and third-party services may also be governed by their terms.

You can deactivate your account or schedule account deletion in the app. Account deletion has a 30-day grace period, during which you can cancel deletion by logging back in and reactivating your account. After that, PetsGo permanently deletes or anonymises account data where technically possible, subject to legal, safety, and security retention needs.

PetsGo is still growing. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time. We may also restrict access to protect users, pets, systems, or legal compliance. We do not promise PetsGo will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

PetsGo is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, PetsGo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, pet loss, veterinary costs, personal injury, or third-party conduct arising from your use of PetsGo.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, unless mandatory local law says otherwise.
