In memory of Maya
A much-loved dog. A lasting purpose.
The inaugural DOG RIDE is dedicated to Maya, the beloved dog of Piston Kings founder Khan FM. Maya passed away earlier this year following her battle with cancer.
Her loss inspired a way to turn grief into purpose: bringing riders together to support animals still waiting for care, support and a home.
“It’s not about what bike you ride, it’s about the dog whose life you change.”
Animals & Us, Fujairah
Every adoption has a story.
DOG RIDE supports Animals & Us and the hundreds of dogs in its care, according to the organisers. For this ride, the connection is personal.
Mojo and Misty are both adopted. Misty, the white dog pictured here, was adopted from Animals & Us in Fujairah, the destination of this year’s ride.
Their story is a reminder of what a new home can mean, and why the dogs still waiting matter.
The riding community
Meet Piston Kings.
Piston Kings is a motorcycle group in Dubai, founded by Khan FM. DOG RIDE brings Dubai’s motorcycle community together around a shared purpose: supporting the dogs at Animals & Us and honouring Maya’s memory.

If you arrived here from your DOG RIDE bag holder, welcome. PetsGo is sharing these special holders with riders as a useful reminder of the day and the dogs behind it.
Built by pet owners in the UAE, PetsGo brings everyday pet care and local community together for dog and cat owners.
Rescue is part of our story, too.
PetsGo co-founder Charbel’s own dog, Floki, is a rescue from Lebanon who came with him to Dubai. Supporting rescue dogs is personal for us, too.
